Flip the Calendar

Wow it is now August.  There was so many things I wanted to get done by now.  The new hoop house is up
so that will provide protection when the rain does come back.  I will have pictures when I remember to bring the camera out.

My son and I took the dahlia Cafe Au Lait to the beach and I had a fun photo shoot with this beautiful flower it's very photogenic.

Went to a friends farm 46 North Farm to see what amazing stuff they grow.  I took some pictures of their huge bed of bachelor's buttons I could not believe the colors

Somethings Are So Exciting

It's been very busy for me around here.  Planting tons of new to me varieties of seeds, planting my baby seedlings, watering, weeding........

We rented a small Skid Steer and removed all the stumps and dirt that would be in the way of the new hoop house.  It looks like a complete mess and a lot of my rudbeckia and lilies were displaced but soon it will be looking like something.

We covered up the lilies to keep the rain and hail off of them.

I am gearing up for a wonderful year of growing awesome flowers and other fun stuff.
