Well, to my surprise I woke up to a light dusting of snow on March 1. Everything had ice crystals on it, but luckily the sun stayed out all day and melted most of it away. On the coast we don't like it cold or icy, that's for further in land or in the mountains. We don't mind looking at the snow capped mountains, but do not want to drive in it.
