Fall is soon arriving

Well the rain has made it's way back.  Hopefully, it will be enough to green up lawns and then stop until October.  Here are some pictures of our new hoop house constructed this summer.

For those who don't do Facebook these are pictures of some of my posts

Hoophouse is coming!

Ok, we have made it through the Fourth of July.  It was wonderful three days with the kids with everyting I like concert in the park, parade and fireworks.  The towns of Monmouth and Independence Or. put on a good show I recommend it to anyone.  Now we are back to work.  I am so excited I can't stand it we were approved by the NRCS for a hoop house.

So my husband is hard at work getting it all ready.  In the past week the deer have gotten in and ate up my lilies and glads.  We now have to be more diligent about closing everything up until they find somewhere else to pillage.

Cafe au Lait is blooming, snaps are hard workers and a huge patch of batchlors buttons and queen ann's lace.

I need to weed really bad!  That is what I am working on right now.

Gorgeous hydrangeas from my daughter's garden.

Tulips for Sale!

I just wanted to gobble them all up.  I know that sounds weird, but their beauty is more than words can describe.  Pretty much a nice day. Husband was working on hoop house, up on a ladder and I was holding the tape measure....until...thunder.  Then off the ladder and hurry to put everything away.  Everyone went in the house except me I hurried to get these beauties to the flowers stand..and...then...HAIL!  Yes, the four letter word flower farms hate to say.  Well, after getting wet and cold I packed it in for the day.  Fireplace is on and drinking a hot cup of tea.
