Taking a break

I'm sure all my fellow farmer's have probably completed their Census of Agriculture paperwork.  For myself I hate filling out forms.  They sent me a reminder post card to make sure I mailed my paperwork by the due date or they would call or personally visit.  They probably don't have the people to come out to my farm and visit but I'm not taking a chance so I will get my paper work completed by the due date.


But, the day was so nice I decided to take the kid and the dog to the beach.  Lots of people out enjoying the day.  It has been 32 deg. every morning this week but the warm is coming they say.  


I need to get my seed orders in.  I am concentrating on mellow yellows and greens for an up coming wedding!

I also got distracted because the new season of Downton Abbey is on.  I started watching episode 1 last night.  I like being a little behind.  Will Bates be found not guilty of murdering his wife and get out of jail?  Mary married Mathew finally!  Will they be happy with no money?

    It looks wonderful at the beach even if it is chilly. We haven't seen our neighbors for two weeks because of the dense fog. It is working on my grumpy side.

      It always takes me a few days to get used to the hanging fog down here. I'm so used to constant air movement on the coast!
